Venice Beach is one of my favorite spots on the west side of Los Angeles with its eclectic vibe and welcoming, energetic atmosphere. I used to rollerblade here after work many days and enjoyed meeting up with friends and people watching. This guard tower has become famous for its beauty and support of LGBTQ culture. The repainting happened in 2017 and has become a permanent monument to inclusivity and pride. It's peaceful and beautiful.
